So...they were once eating but stopped? If they are new, what were they eating before you got them?

Bloodworms are like candy to discus. That's probably why they don't eat much else. How do they attack the bloodworms?

From my personal limited experience....stop feeding bloodworms, just offer your choice of foods to them. Small amounts a couple of times a day then siphon out left overs/refused food about a half hour after fed. I had a two week stand off with my guys before they finally got hungry and started eating. Now they'll eat just about anything I put in the tank. I still don't feed bloodworms though.

I had an issue where mine were addicted to bloodworms and wouldn't touch anything else for a bit. I stopped feeding the stuff they wanted and started feeding the rest. I added a drop of garlic oil as well. Seemed to stimulate their "eat" response. Now I only feed them their "treat" once in a while.
