How big should a discus be at 12 months old? 4-5 inches?

Depends on genetics, care, and sex. A male should be at least 5 inches and a female should be at least 4. To many variables and to many unknowns to tell you how big they will end up. If you have been pounding the food and WC's and they are that size then they will end up on the small size. If you have taken a slower is fine approach they might end up adding another inch or more.

cool thanks, i was told mine are about 8 months and they are a little over 4 inches
