I don't like the looks of them at all. Also don't like the fact that there are angels in the tank with the discus. Go with a sponser on this site--Just my 2 cents

Ya I saw one or two there(the oranges) that seemed to have good eyes and didnt have a pinched forhead but thats the extent of my knowledge so far. At 1.20 a litre($5 a gallon) if I spend two hours driving in a truck that gets 14mpg i want to come back with fish haha.

I wasn't impressed with the pictures either. Check with the sponsors closest to you. The cost of shipping superior discus might be less than the cost to drive to look at sub-par discus.

Not good fish. They appear to be either wormy or poorly cared for. Find someone better and pay more. Don't buy from him.

what do you mean when you say sponsors? Corporate sponsors of the site? Sorry I am new.

I am feeling pretty good about asking now. They didnt look good to me but not sure of myself with them. I would love to go out and buy a couple of really nice fish and spend the big bucks but I am more inclined to keep a school of 6 at the start.

Don't even think about those other discus.

Buy from Rick Grange @ Canadian Aqua Farm Discus Hatchery. He's an excellent supplier - breeds his own and also imports high quality discus from Forrest in Malaysia. I get all my discus from Rick.

Wife and I have already picked out the ones we want, as soon as I can get in touch with him ordering 3 virgin red and 3 red melons.

I am not so quick to say those Discus are bad but buy from Rick he is a SD sponsor and has a good reputation. If you have problems he will be happy to help you. If you are worried about shipping I think live delivery is guaranteed but when the fish are in your tank they are your responsability.

haha I tried that since our anniversary is in a couple of months... it didnt go so well but she is all for this so here we go. I am thinking of starting out with some tiger turqoise from a local breeder and then filling out the tank later when the vancouver importer has his next order ready. This is the link for the juvies she has for sale. All she has left is the tigers. http://www.ottawadiscushouse.com/discus-videos---for-sale.html

They appear to be healthy. I don't think that they're overpriced. If you like them buy them.

Cool, she has a good rep. I have been trying to get a hold of her for the last few weeks and she just got back to me. Apparently was in an accident and has a torn rotator cuff so needs a couple of weeks before she can help me out....I told her I would come over and scoop them out for her :)

Those look way better than the first discus you posted a link to. Maybe a little overpriced, it's usually $10 an inch for the going rate for fish..........
