Question for you all. I wanted to use tap water for my tank but it is pulling 8.0 ph out of the tap. Should I use a buffer if so which one? Mix with RO? I did not want to mess with the PH But I think 8.0 is just to high. I appreciate all and everone's input. Is 8.0 just to high?
It's not.. they will be fine.. clean water and lots is what matters.. ph that is constant is what they like. .
Consistancy is kek
Don't buffer or mess with chemistry of water

Warlock- I can mix 50% TAP with 50% R.O which would bring it down. Thoughts?? Warlock 8.0 just sounds awfully high to me but you know more than I.

As Skip mention, don't worry about the PH don't try to change it.

It does not matter what your PH is. Leave it alone. Keep the water clean and warm.
