hi
its about time! i have had discus for 10 years or so .eggs come and go i was not paying much attention on the last batch .yesterday my female was realy dark though she was sick until i looked a little closer . there they were 3 wigglers oooohappyday i know it is not much but yahoo!!!

WTG. It is a good thing when you see wigglers, whether its 3 or 300.

haveing problums with male picking on his mate after spawn and then eating eggs . hope i dident do the wrong thing we took out the male. now she stays rite with them see what happens

That looks like a plan from now on then let him do the job then send him on a holiday till the family are grown.

That happens with small numbers the least I have had raised is 16 but most times if less than 30 they loose intrest.

i think i did the worng thing when i took out the male i have wigglers again and dad is keeping mom away from babys and he is careing for them should i take her out ? thanks for any help !

With only 3 I'd leave them together and let nature take it's course. The pair will likely produce a LOT more on their next successful go.

How many this time.If they dont settle down,you can take the female out,or put a divider in the tank where they can still see each other.
