All good choices. I also know Hans was selling a flake food as well with Cobalt foods.

I have not tried Dan's yet but bill's flake is very unique in its thickness. It does not fall apart very easily so does make a mess.

My fish liked Bill's but my wife didn't, Lol. If not eaten right away, it can leave your fish room with a bad odor (no offense Bill, still good product).

Bill has excellent beef heart flake but right now Iam feeding the black worm/beef heart flake and my discus love it. Just placed another order with Dan. Both vendors have very good flake for discus.

I've been using Dan's flakes on the crew for two weeks now with great success. From day one they attack the flakes like no tomorrow. Great stuff...

Brine shrimp direct has a slow drying process that makes the flakes thick and hearty and worth a try.

I've used Bill's and Ken's beef heart flakes. I'm gonna try Han's in another couple months when I run out of both. Han's and Cobalt's are supposed to be the same isn't it? I vary my food so I also use Ocean Nutrition's marine flakes.

I've used the Hans Cobalt flake and been very impressed. The smaller fish love it and my adults, that don't readily eat flake, ate it surprisingly well. Usually they only pick at the Ocean Nutrition flake so it must be a little better than that. :)

Hans' flake for sure. It is pricey. My fish seemed to like it best. If money matters a lot 4 1/2 lb Tetra Min flakes from Kens Fish, less than $50.
