thanks,I bought them last october, when they are about 4.5cm.I boutht locally,I don't know much about breeder.They just said they were RGD.I have ever heard that RGD's tail are clean.so i have the question.

Lee I am not sure its peppering as just the tail is getting darker. That could just be a characteristic of the cross. Normally peppering is all over the body and more so the head area from what I see in most peppered pigeons. Yours are nice and clean through the body. Beautiful fish for sure.

the photo was taken last october,probably,the breeder from who i bought the fish fed them red enhanced food,but I didnot feed any red enhanced food,so they were redder when they just arrived at my place.

Melon black tail got pigeon gene very strong as RGD was from golden gene that why very clean on tail part.
