Hi all, I have a pair that laid/fertilized eggs at least six times in the last two months, all to turn white then get eaten. My tds reading is around 70ppm, but my pH is around 5.8. Both using Hanna meters. Please advise if a pH that low can affect viability of the eggs. They are in a show tank with lots of driftwood and plants. I'm also wondering if I should buy R/O filter to get the tds lower. I don't know what my GH/KH values are (that kit have been ordered) Any advise appreciated. Thanks.

My few cents.. Whether its a male/female pair? pictures can sometime help identifying the sex by experts over here..

I'm pretty sure they are male/female from the picture as they take turns doing their thing.

Could be two females or a young/infertile male.
