Purchased 3 new discus on Wednesday and they're currently in my QT. Should I be concerned with these spots on the ones tail?

My friend! Don't take this the wrong way but your discus is stunted. The eyes are not proportionate to body size.

Blueluv...I understand what you're saying but not 100% sure. I'll post another pic of the fish's profile to confirm. I'm new to discus and appreciate & welcome the comments.

Here's a profile. Just making sure there are no issues with the spots on the tail. 78997

Hard to tell from the picture. As Jerry suggested warm clean water at least 50% or better WC daily and keep the tank very clean. Are you having any ammonia/nitrites spikes?

It is kind of hard to tell from picture. What color is the spot? What I can suggest to you is clean water by water changes and possibly clean your filters.

No spikes on anything and water is at 86. 50% w/c. Filter is clean. No issues with the 3 new ones. I want to stay on top of it just in case.

Stay the course. Clean, warm water along with your water changes for now.

As I've read and from everyone's suggestions, I've noticed the "spots" diminishing a bit. Today is day #5 of QT and all three discus look good. No issues with water parameters in the QT as well. I do love the ease of a bare bottom water change too!!!
