Aqueon water changer question

Hi everyone,
I have been using the Aqueon water changer for about a year now, and I use it to do water changes on my discus tank. I have also been using it to fill up the tank, adding prime to the tank every few minutes or so. Is this method harmful to the discus? I have used this way of doing water changes ever since I started with discus and it only takes 20-30 mins to do a water change.

I do the exact same, have had no problems. Been doing it for years. A bigger danger would be not plugging heaters back in or overfilling the tank lol.

Would I have to age my water instead if I got wild discus ?

Not sure if I read it correctly,but you can add the whole dose,not some every few minutes.Just add for the whole tank,ex.,20gal tank,15gal out,dose for 20gal then fill.
