Earlier this week I posted about my Piwow Brown and my Red Cover pairing up and producing a first spawn while i was at work. Well, it's happened again. Apparently, these 2 were not to be outdone.

This morning, before David and I went on our weekly grocery run, we noticed a couple of the leopards dancing. Lo and behold, when we got home, they had taken over the other half of the tank and it's piece of driftwood for their own spawn. This is a first spawn for this pair, also.

Mom (I think she's a leopard, but I'm not sure. If anyone has a guess as to her strain, I'm open to hearing it.)

Nice size spawn. Congrats Merry. The piwow group which I sold but has not been picked up has to newly formed pairs. One which spawned the other day.

Thank you. This pair was a complete surprise. We didn't even know they were going to pair up. As I understand it, the male was paired with an Albino Golden, which we have in this same tank, when they were with their previous family.

Gratz on the new spawn. They can pick strange times to do them, lol.

Thank you. I thought she was a Leopard, but I wasn't completely sure. My husband just pointed out, as he was looking at the pics I posted of her, that she appears to be a snakeskin, also.

I'm kinda torn, now. We have come up with a tank we can move a pair to, already cycled and waiting for a breeding cone. Now we have to decide, do we move this pair, or do we move the Piwow Brown and the Red Cover.

Which ever one gets wigglers first :) gets the tank.

Hehe, that's a pretty fair way to decide.

I have a pair at each end, with my group of singles in the middle. Sorta feel sorry for the singles, dealing with 2 hormonal females in such a small confined space (it's only a 135 gal).

Let's put a breeding cone in the middle & see what happens next.

We could end up with a 3rd pair.

Your welcome, I should have been more thorough for you... I am so use to just saying something and thinking people should automatically know what I'm saying lol

No worries. The response and compliment were both appreciated.
