I am pleased to announce that Barb of Delightful Designs Discus Cones has 9 books that she has kindly put up for auction. All Proceeds from the auction will be used to support the forum and help keep it strong into the future.

Here are the book details, also all 9 of these books are like new condition:

The winning bidder of this auction will receive all 9 of these great books. Barb will also be donating free shipping within the U.S. Anyone outside the U.S. will have to pay extra shipping and any other fees that may apply. The shipping weight of these books is 12 pounds.

Starting bid is $100.

Thanks for being the first one Pat! These books have fabulous pictures of what discus "used" to look like before we got all the new colors and huge sizes. Lots of Amazon river and wild catching of discus info. One has the famous pic of a native eating a discus like a cookie. Some of the well known and early discus keepers have written these books.

Thanks to Pat and David for showing interest in my books. I have read them all several times and want others to be able to enjoy them now, I still have about 50 other books on all aspects of tropical fish keeping. I used to be quite the fish book collector. If I saw a book that looked good I bought it!

These are really good books, excellent condition, very well cared for by me, kept in glass enclosed book cases for years. Whoever wins the auction will enjoy them and also the pleco/catfish caves I will be adding, ones I design and make. Just a reminder, 100% of the auction will be donated to Al to help with the running of this wonderful forum.

We definitely do Barb. I think we have over 2 dozen cories (8 sterbai & various others), 5 albino BNP (2 longfin), 7 brown BNP (4 longfin), 2 butterfly plecs & a clown plec among all our tanks. :D
