Hi all!

As I am posting from my tab its not easy to cut and paste,so I will give you as much info as possible!

I have kept fish when I was still a child, but returned to the hobby 4 years ago with a low tech panted community, then 2 years ago i started with bare bottom discus tanks!

Currently I have 2 bare bottom discus tanks with sumps and running extra 4 sponge filters per tanks as and hang on aquaclear70 onto my sump where I have purigen in.filter media is mostly matrix!

Both tanks are 5ft with a 4ft sump

First tank is 800l with 14 almost adult fish and 10 sterbia corries,
Tank temp 30 degrees celcius and ph 6

Second tank is 750l with with 18 smaller discus which is still busy growing out plus 10 sterbia corries
Temp 30
Ph 6

I do 40% waterchange once a week with tap water that I treat with prime or safe, water being heated up to 29 before water change

I feed wide variaty of food
Sv 2000(beefheart mix with vitamins)
Discus royal
Tetra bits
Tetra flakes aswell as spurilina flakes
Frozen enriched brineshirmp
Frozen bloodworm
Ocean nutrition discus flakes and discus pellets with extra garlic and vitamin C

I have a 180l juwel tank with dantum angel pairs wich spawns regurally!
I have 1000l angel grow out tanks

I have two 3ft planted community tanks

I have two 1000l tanks/drums outside which is fullmof guppies

Here in South Africa we battle to get good quality A grade discus!
Most come from malaysia

Ill post some pics of my fish and tanks next week!

May want to do a few more water changes in both tanks. Otherwise, you look like you're good and have all the info you need.

Welcome to Simply!

Hi Pat!ive done more than 11 posts already, but when i click onto the pics option it only allows me to load pics from a URL,is this like this for everyone,or does you somehow get an option to load photos straight from your device hard drive?

Hi Charles, you can use the attachment icon to upload from your hard drive and there are limitations on the picture size. I always have it mess with it a bit and find it a bit confusing to use. I prefer photobucket myself.

Click on Go Advanced and the paper clip is the attachments icon.
