YES!! My poor husband eats breakfast with 6 sets of eyeballs STARING at him. He says one of these days he expects them to snatch the cereal out of his hands as he sneaks past them to get to the breakfast bar.

Yea, mine do that too. In fact, I can be sitting on the couch across the room where the tank is, and they will start their little "dance" when I start to stand up. I can tell by the way they act that they recognize the difference between my wife and myself. (I'm the only one that feeds them).

Lol! They're wonderful, I love these fish and the hobby. They're probably wondering is they're going to be fed as well....Lol

I have one little girl that will look you in the face, no matter where you are. If you move to a different location, she moves, too. If you're sitting on the couch or a chair, she accomidates by moving to eye level. She will continue this until she gets fed. She's partial to Sera pellets, lol.
