Dissolving metro in hot water

Does dissolving metro in very hot water effect the medication at all?

Yes it speeds up it's breakdown. Not sure why you are using hot water just put it in a Tupperware with a cup or two of water and shake the heck out of it. It will dissolve mostly then the rest will dissolve in the tank.

I use a gatorade bottle, same concept, shake the h e double toothpicks out of it.

I just put it directly in the tank, it dissolves in a few minutes.
