Good luck. They look like a young pair.
The female silver pigeon is small they are young. They spawn in my display tank and the eggs seem to be fertile. I'm really in no rush for them to breed ill be very pation with them and let them figure thing out on their own even if takes awhile.

Good luck:D I like the silver pigeon. What will be the outcome from this pair? Will they have more pattern or more solids?

Well don't quote me on this but I've read some posts in were if both are PB, then you'll end up with mostly peppered fry.

What makes you think the albino gold melon is a pb? Should be a golden.

I thought it was at least that is what I was told. If it is not I guess this would not be a good pair.

I think the pair will be ok. Attachment might be problematic at first so be prepared for that. As far as the albino gold melon, the albino gene can mask a lot of unknown genetics, so it is still possible it has a pb gene, but the name implys it is of golden genes.

With this said, even if the albino gold melon does not have a pb gene, I still think the majority of fry will be clean. Your silver pigeon is clean and the fish your crossing with is a solid, barless fish.

Thank you very much I know the attachment is going to be a problem I'm hoping for a little luck just curios why would be a problem first and not a on going problem with attachment.
