+1 - SO dead on about the water bill costs! LOL

On the other hand, I moved mine to my 115g when they reached 5" and cut back from twice a day WC to once a day till they reached 7", so I'm not sure I saved all that much money by raising them in the smaller tank (55g twice a day was about 90gpd)

True, but who likes to look at a half filled tank. For the money he'd spend on one or two water bills he could head down to petsmart and pick up a 55G set up when they have their cent per gallon sale. Or pick up a used tank off of craigslist...........

Lol yea. I read up on some what people pay into water bill. Glad I don't have to. I change a 55g everyday and a 115g twice a month would be expensive. But I don't pay for water just electrical. I live in Canada:)

Same here, in Turkmenistan we dont pay for water, electricity, kitchen gas. :) but, no quality discus here, i have to import.
