So I think I've made the mistake of getting my 100g bag of Al's fdbw's wet (dunking my hand in tank to feed, then putting my hand in the bag to get another cube). The remaining cubes now have a pungent odor and a blueish fuzz growing on them....which I'm pretty sure is mold. Is this mold bad for the discus (should I throw them out?)? My instincts are telling me it is but I was just wondering if anyone has gotten this mold as well? Would fridging my fdbw's prolong their life?

Hi Chris, I would not risk it. Easier to replace the worms then the fish.

Yea man I'd pitch them. I always grab what i need for one tank with my left hand and then place them on the glass with my right. Those FDBW shouldn't need refridgerated but if you think that will help then yes. Putting them in an air tight container will help prolong them. Also if you don't get them wet it helps ;)

Thanks Pat and Brandon :) - I'm pitching them. And good call on grabbing all the cubes before dunking. No more double dipping....
