Getting discus to pair off?...

I know there are ways to induce discus to spawn but are their ways to get them to pair off?? I am hoping that I have at least one M and one F out of my 3 piwow red turqs. They are 5.75-6 inches. Will the waterchange with 10 degrees cooler water method work to get them to pair off?

I would think your discus are not old enough yet and they will pair off in their own time. I would suggest letting this happen in it's own time. However a cooler WC might induce spawning behavior. Females will mature first before the males. When I had my piwows I had three laying females and no mature males in a group of eight. A spawning pair can cause lots of chaos in a small community tank.
