media reactor question [Archive]

just wanted to post a picture of new media reactor by Innovative Marine. The inner tube is removable, very easy to add and remove media. I'm going to be running purigen and carbon in these in my new sump. please let me know if any one has any good/bad experience with these.

My only question is that are there enough seals on both ends so that the purigen beads dont escape?

The reactor comes with 4 sponges so if you put two on the top and two on the bottom it should work I'm going to set it up this weekend and will let you know if any modifications are needed

i want to see what Allwin, Paul thinks of this since he has made his himself, wonder how it compares, because i am STUCK with the home made ones beyond the simplist ugly moving bed purigen reactor, Dr Nick im following all things for your tank that your doing avidly because i need all the help i can get setting up my 250g pre drilled :) so thank you !
