When to remove protective mesh?

I'm sorry If this is a repost, but I haven't been able to find an answer to my question... I can only guess.

When do you guys remove the mesh away from the eggs? once they become wigglers or do you hold on until they become free swimmers? Thanks!!

I wait until they become free swimmers,but I give the pair a couple of shots at it with out putting mesh over.

Leave it until after they go free swimming. The babies can swim though the mesh.
