Its beautiful. I was in to planted before discus. The one problem is it is a fleeting moment that it looks perfect. It does not stay that way for long. I hated to trim plants though. Mine would become a jungle and I didn't have the heart to trim. You could put a few discus in and take a pic and then take them out. LOL

Discus in that tank would be perfect!!! I have seen many beautifully planted tanks with discus.

ARRRRRRGGGG STUNNNNNIIIIINNNNG !!! been trying to get my 90g to look like that, im having a lot less luck with high tech planted, my low tech planteds look great, to me, but i have things like glandulosa, golden nesea, pogo erectus, japanese blyxa, ludwigia cuba, etc that just dont seem to be doing great something wrong with my co2 level i think or fert dosing, my lights are 4 x T5H0 ......anyway !! im working on THAT EXACT THING! that to me is just the definition of beauty. before, i was hoping to finish it off with discus, now id just settle for the discus in the bare or driftwood tanks and the planted tank looking like that !!

Awesome planted tank!

Imho. Adding discus would take away from the beauty and serenity. ..

I for one cannot keep plants that red and nicely trimmed like that.
Nor grow discus to 9" LoL.

But i agree that perhaps this tank is better with small tetras.
Owner tom barr did keep discus in planted tank but only grew to 5".

Very nice if I was going to do a planted tank that's the way I would want it to look. Unfortunately I don't have much of a green thumb or enough knowledge so I will just have to admire works like this

I think discus would be the perfect fish for this tank, Skip. :) Scene of large graceful discus schooling and grazing on the bottom for food can't be beat.
