just checking, my first pair (got to be a +1 for well water that made me loose sleep at nights, when you get a pair as a beginner with your very first discus group from the LFS !)

was a bad match, pigeon to non pigeon, funny i had read the forum for months but never known to look for that, as soon as i did i split them up, they had growing to do still - silly to honeymoon suite them if nothing exceptional was going
to be a result because a./ still growing (i read in places thats a major factor of quality of fry) b/. because id have to R/O some of it to get hatch/raise rate and im still learning how to raise from 2" to adult. c/. only place for them was honey moon suite at that time a planted 55g with rummy nose tetra and a bristle nose pleco. but planted nontheless.

ok so NOW (by the way i have been quiet lately due to a post i read by a veteran of SD who called me a no no , not sure what that means but i know it means shut your yap :) so i will ask when i need help but not try and "help other nono's" in the waiting interim
for other more experienced people.however it cuts down on the learning absorption rate and sometimes have to avoid the painful waiting for people to get help who are already deep in the schnoodle by switching off and looking back a week later, just information not good or bad for the moderators, i hate breaching etiquette)

so Now, i have a pair forming from Kenny's last , beautiful batch, checkerboard turq and blue scorp. i had posted elsewhere about tracking mixes and i quote " unless its pigeon and non pigeon you are golden :) " just wanted to learn what the potential offspring/ and worthiness of this match would be, i was hoping to breed more snakeskin and scorpions but they are the two biggest strongest fish in the tank and hey ! love is love

i have also seen a match between a checkerboard turq (are those guys on viagra?!) and an Albino red spotted green.

just curious here, i am here to learn so let me know if you would ditch the match or be interested :) breeding is the LAST thing to read on my list, because raising well is number one. but i AM so curious and will get a big warm and fuzzy from seeing fry:antlers:

Marnie, is this your question: "Is a Blue Scorpion and Checkerboard Turq a good match?" Well it's not a non-pigeon-to-pigeon so you're fine in that aspect.

And who called you a "no-no"? Nevermind that, but have you been drinking and blogging again? Because that second paragraph had quite a LOT within one set of paranthesis ;) Just because I drink and blog it doesn't make it right (nor does it make my DIY overflow right because it's still leaking)
