I made food yesterday, realizing too late that I had forgotten about the gelatin. I used Certo, but it did not work - The food dissolves immediately in the water. Is there a fix, now that the food is already blended & frozen? Would adding gelatin to the thawed mixture help? I am prepared to re-do the food, but I thought perhaps there was a way...

I guess you are talking about beef heart mix, I have never used gelatin and mine never dissolve in the water.
What ingredients you used in the mix?

Beef heart, earthworm flake, vit c, vit 3, flaxseed oil, garlic, and some frozen mysis... I think another frozen food - maybe krill.

Try shrimp, it help to bind everything together, other people use bananas but I have never try it, I always use equal amounts of beef heart and shrimp plus small amounts of peas, spinach, spirulina flake, pellets, garlic and multivitamins.

Can I thaw & add the shrimp now, or will it ruin it? I don't know if re-freezing harms the nutrients or consistency...

I don't know if your suppose to thaw and refreeze but I have done it without any trouble.
