Water storage barrel/Uniseals or Bulkheads?

I need to run a piece of 3/4 or 1 in pvc from my water storage barrel to my pump. Has anyone used the uniseals on Bulk Reef Supply or is it better to install a bulkhead? Just currious I don't want any leaks!

I have used Uniseals on actual tanks and they work great as long as you never have to move anything. Once mine were in they worked great for over a year. When I decided to build up my fish room and move tanks around everyone one leaked,but one.

Bulkhead will be my choice.

If the top aint cut off ... no way you are going to use bulkhead. ^^ I just did 2 drum usinig uniseal

It can be very hard to get a bulkhead to seal if it's on a curved surface like the side of a barrel, unless you have a barrel with a flat spot for that purpose or a very large diameter. Hope this helps.
