View Full Version : my discus has tail bitten off

hi my fish have had fry and we left them together and she bit his fins and tail, we have divided the tank and given her the healthy fish, 90 percent of the fry and left him with 5. he dont want to eat and will the fins and tail grow back? i took some photos.

can anyone give me any tips, i been doing big water changes everyday . its the not eating im worried about . help :)

Well fill out what you can so we can get a good idea of whats going on. Its like going to the doctor and showing him a photo and wanting a diagnosis its next to impossible just need a little more info.....Josie

she was bullying him for the babys. and thats when i happened may be he has caught a infection on the tail. but it does look better today and he seems abit better swimming around more

Keep up with your water changes that you are doing and pay close attention to him. Don't want it to get infected or a fungus to start to grow on it.............
