Is there a breeder/supplier of german blue rams and cardinals that has some in stock?

Yes.

Look in the sponsor's subforums. I know snookn21 has both. Not sure who else atm.

For cards check with John as others suggested.

According to Johns latest sales thread he has both rams and cards. I am considering some of the wild rams myself.

Thanks Pat and DiscusDude7. Would be great to get them all from one source. Can anyone compare the life expectancy of wild rams to those from lfs? I've had some from lfs that were short lived, likely hormone, but they did spawn in the tank. They were also not kept under the same high standards I keep my discus.

I got 100 xlg cardinals from snook21. They are wild caught but were pigs from the start and are big an fat now. He often has rams as well.

Thanks. He would only sell 25 cards or more. I didn't need that many, so I picked up some from lfs. Cards are very small and rams are not too colorful. Hope they will color up as they grow. I'll eventually learn how much better the quality is direct from importers.

If you feed the cardinals a good flake or pellet they will grow fast. I have never had rams so can't say on the color up.

I'll keep them in qt for 4-6 weeks and feed them 3-4 times per day. Maybe they'll get big enough not to be swallowed whole by my 5" discus.
