Have a tank with nothing but a mated pair of Blue Diamond Discus. Recently noticed that the male was hiding and swimming with his head down, cowering in the corners. He also stopped running to greet me for food. Though he does eat! Thought he might be sick, possible with HITH so I treated with copper, and changed the water a LOT. He is still acting the same, but they spawned again. I wonder if he is sulking, because immediately prior to this behavior, I had briefly moved him to a different tank to see if he was the party responsible for eating the eggs (he wasn’t). Any thoughts?

Sounds possible. He may be afraid if he comes to the front he'll get moved again. It shouldn't take him long to get over that. Maybe feeding a frozen cube by hand would snap him out of it.

Could you post a pic of the pair? Need to see the eye color and the stomach (both sides). Observe the fish closely for a week with daily wc, if symptoms persist step up your action.
