Hi all.

I have a question regarding water aging. My water drops from 7.8 out the tap to 6.8 after 24 hrs. I only have enough storage to do a 50% wc at a time. What do i do in an emergency if i need to do a bigger wc. What is the minimum time i can age for?

I age 50 too and if I do 75% change I just do the rest tap. It doesn't effect them as long as the tap isn't a large percent. You might be OK with adding your aged water and then straight tap as long as you use prime or another dechlorinator

Thanks for that answer, and i would like to take it one step further. My wc schedule is every second day. I only start aging 24 hrs before wc is due (trying to save power). In a case where i need to do an unscheduled wc, whats the minimum time you would consider safe? The most obvious solution is to always have water aging. This is just info i would like to have just in case the need ever arises.
