I was enjoying watching my Discus community tank with all the fun Rummy Nose Tetra schooling activities tonight so I recorded a couple of videos I am sharing...

Here is an updated photo of the tank... video links are after the image...

Notice how the Rummy Nose Tetra swim back and forth avoiding the larger Discus and Geophagus cichlids... cool capture of a little piece of nature... BTW - the Geophagus spawned after my weekend WC... this is why they are a little protective of lower right side of the enclosure (Tank) LOL... Also my BDs are spawning every week... sure wish they could succeed by I know its highly unlikely in a community biotype environment... buy they don't know that yet...

They are Red Head Trapajos Geophagas and mine seem to being doing great in the warmer water. They have spawned several times and are spawning right now. They were tiny when I got them a few months ago and now they are half grown.

love that pice of drift wood and how you have it setup in the tank. Nice work.

Thank you. It's become a Discus spawning tool. They pick the mid point and I end up reducing amount of water out so they can can continue guarding eggs during WCs. Every Saturday morning they have a new nest.
