Has anyone had this happen??

We put a cube of black worms on the wall of our leopard and SS red tank and the strangest thing has been happening for the last 20 mins the male is making passes over the black worm trying to fertilize them. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I am thinking he is ready and the female isn't lol

It sure was funny now he is cleaning the cone and a lot of shaking going on and he is such a dark blue for a few mins then back to normal then dark again all evening gosh he is one beautiful boy Josie thank you again
