Not talking about him lol I'm talking about the Univ. of Maryland soccer team. They are playing in the semi final of the NCAA. My nephew is playing in that team, Michael Sauers #3 his goals brought them in this final and he made the winning goal in one of the games to the semi final. They are leading at the moment 1:0 against Virginia

Hans, great for the Terps! Stan, I'm a former Virginian (now and hopefully to the end a South Carolinian) but I will always hate UVA after my Mountaineers (WVU grad) played UVA in a bowl and really did a unprofessional halftime show. Had no anger towards UVA until then (even had Terry Kirby and Chris Slade autograph pics that hung in my room when I was in middle school!).

Hans, even though in football the Terps kicked the ever living crap out of my Mountaineers this year, good sh*t on their game tonight! Anyone who beats the Cavs or Hokies are my 2nd favorite team. As for next year in football, payback's a biatch :P

Must have been the old Lawn and Chowder band. They got themselves banned from all sporting events.
Back in the DISTANT past when I played soccer at UVa. we barely got jerseys and few people bothered to watch. Certainly no band! Football in those days was a party you went to and a game broke out.
I loved the George Welsh era though.
Being a UVa and Red Sox fan has left me with many years of disappointment so we have to enjoy the rare successes.
BUT, not tonight.

I gotta say Maryland got hosed in the Championship game. Two badly missed calls.
Still they did not play with the legs they had in the Virginia game. Tough to play two games in 48 hours.

You know no excuses, Notre Dame scored 2X Terp 1x that's not enough to win.

In my opinion the depend to much on Mullen (Yes, he's good) they try to get every ball to him, ND knew this so that makes their game a lot easier.................. my opinion.

But, it's my nephew's first year so 3 more to come to grow,

I agree, ND just made sure the big guy never touched the ball. But MD has a pretty young team so they should be there again.
