Trying to decide whether to go bare bottom or not in a tank. What is the best way to minimize the reflection of the bottom of the tank? Will painting the outside of the bottom of the tank minimize the reflection?
If you want it to have a textured look, go to a place like Lowe's and get the textured stone/granite accent spray paint. It has flecks of texture and color in it. I use the medium tan color with black and white flecks in it, then spray paint it on the outside bottom of the glass. It looks better than flat paint IMO.

I would use spray paint but you could also use poster board.

Those WBs are awsome and your tank is immaculate.

I used this too. Something like that kryon brand I can't remember the exact brand. It was a spray paint too. Very easy.

No problem. I guess the big decision no it's using a spray type paint (messy) or a latex or vinyl type paint with texture.
