DISEASE QUESTIONNAIRE


Problem

1. Please explain the problems with your fish. When did you notice the problems and did anything unusual happen that you think started the

my big blue snakeskin discus 5 inches completly stopped eating during like 2 week and turned dark . my blood pigeon got a cloudy eye at the same time . ALL my fish were looking extremely stressed and face hitting the tank wall for no reason everytime they heard a noise.
sooo i gave them Fluke treatment Prazi PRo during 6 days , after only 2 days my big blue discus was eating normally again! and since this time (3 week ) hes eating normally.
but my red pigeon still have this cloudy eye on one side only and i dont know what to do :( (2 month now) . ohh and since i treated the tank for flukes now every fish look alot more relax and they stoped smashing the tank wall for nothing (they like seeing people near the tank now always coming out to see if theres food)

2. Symptoms (i.e. turning dark, excess slime, not eating, clamped fins, flashing, darting, clamped gills, white/yellow/green poop, hiding, headstanding or tailstanding, white on tips of fins, rotting or fungus, blisters/white zits on fish, bloated, cloudy eyes, wounds).

1st : my big blue discus now eating normally now but do you know if he will get back the color he had before getting sick ?
2nd : what should i do to treat the eye of my red pigeon? he got this since like 2 month and it doesnt look better

3. What medications/ treatments have you already tried and what were the results. Include dosage and duration of treatment.

tank 8 month, 90g , 6 discus 3-5 inches , 10 cards , 1 eb ram , 1 betta , 100 amano shrimp

5. Water change regime (What percentage and how often).

30-50% every 2-3 days

6. How long has tank been running? Is it bare bottom? If you have substrate, what type and how deep is it?

8 month , sand , 3 inches


7. Do you age your water? If you do for how long and what is the ph swing.

no , i dont have alot of room for this i know its bad ... im doin direct water change

Up your water changes to 50% every day, no more meds needed now. Your water change regiment is not good enough. It's not my opinion it's your fishes telling you. Good luck Jeff.
