Hey, so I raise ducks as a hobby and as such have tons of eggs. I was wondering if I could do anything to use these eggs as discus food???

I have so many I can't eat them myself and I thought well...they are protein and all natural so maybe it could work....???

Any input or experience?

Sounds a little quacky, Just kidding. They use chicken egg yoke to make yoke power for artificial rearing fry. Putting in beef heart mix but it may foul the water quick.

Some old timers discus keepers used to put raw egg yolk in their beef heart , yes it will definitely will cloud the water. but nothing daily WC and bare bottom can't handle.

So I'm thinking about hard boiling the eggs, mashing them, and mixing them with a low sodium beef stock....cubing that and freezing it.....maybe add in some real beef heart....I feel like they couldn't resist and hardboiling the eggs should prevent dirty water...maybe.....

Bottom line is, there is no hard in trying right???
