I would not do this unless you have good cause to. Salt aids with fluid exchange in the body, strips the excess slime off so medications can penetrate better through the skin, but on the other hand if not medicating, leaves the body more susceptible to outside pathogens, will kill some protozoans type parasites. Not to be used as a catch all.

other thing is when your fish get sick, salt will help sometimes but if you add salt to your wc every time, so when fish get sick, salt won't help anymore ...
