How long Til they color up?

Hi everyone, just curious as to what's the most general age/size that yellow face red melons color up. The one in the picture below is about 2.5 to 2 3/4 in. Eating 4 times daily and regular water changes.

Loks like a marlboro red to me. At about 4" is your answer. Your little guy is already showing signs of stunting, time to change more water (50% daily).

I think it's the lighting that is making him look more orange. I bought him from discus madness and is definitely more red in person. I will start to do more water changes then;)
