This poor little guy finally started eating after 2 weeks, I was so worried but things look good!! He is stunted but I'm hoping he will grow big and strong with my care. I am new to discus so hopefully i don't make any terrible mistakes ;) he's 2.5 inches.
Im posting photos because i have questions about its colouring. It seems to have 4 different colour changes! I don't know what any of them mean yet and I was wondering if you could let me know if you know what they mean. The darker the stripes he seems to be agitated but I'm not sure, he just gets dark lines when another discus approaches. Sometimes he doesn't have any lines at all!!!! just patterns, sometimes very blue and other times red and black lines like one of the photos I'm posting.

Let me know what you think!!! Talk to me:)

Thanks Bayouboy, I obviously didn't word this post very well with so little comments. Whats your tank look like? Do your Discus change colour like crazy?

edit::: I just read a post of yours and saw some photos of your newly acquired discus. How are they doing?

The vertical lines are called stress bars and come and go depending on his mood. The same can be said about his bluish color coming and going.................

The bars indicate stress? Is the ideal look to have no bars at all? Thanks BODYDUB
