i have discus fry i been raising for around 2 months now and all of a sudden some are getting dark (maybe they are getting pepper) and i lost 2 of them the other day and when i come down the steps they all hide under the sponge filter. i moved them to a 40 breeder yesterday and they are still doing the same thing. i dont understand why the water is good the ph is inbetween 6.0-6.5 could that be the reason?

Change more water and get a bigger tank. It is more than likely a water quality issue.
