Im planning 4-5 of 180-240gal fishroom in garage.
whats the cheapest route for good lighting and still save on electricity?

I looked into shop lights at lowes and HD.
yesterday I found this at Costco and it was extremely bright for using only 13W selling for $20.

I find LED lights to be extremely bright yet low on wattage, so is good as aquarium light. I bought underwater LED lights (tube type, 4 feet) but put on the top of the tank.

Dave,

Are you going to heat the garage, or let the aquarium heaters do the job?

Both, plan on some indoor heater in garage only to 73-74 then rest by individual heaters in tanks.
