Hi John, thanks, one more question, how do I hatch them, I just recently got some fry from a platinum albino and a red melon, the babies are about 8 days old, so looking foward to get some food for them.

Since I don't measure anything I am not the one to ask, but basically I use 2 heaping tablespoons of rock salt in about 3/4 gallons of water. Lots of air and a light on 24/7. At roughly 80 degrees they will hatch in 24 hours. There are lots of post on here that will give it to you in more detail.

Lots of post on SD, I can tell you a metric way in the measurements. I use 2ltr glass bottles with the base cut out and they sit in a timber rack lots of air, I have R/o so i use that and 1/4 od a cup of rock salt gives you the correct silanity of .25 - .35ppt. 24 hrs is the normal hatch time at around 28c a bit warmer they hatch earlier or bit cooler they hatch later.

Thanks all for the help. In your opinion what type of fish would I get from this parents? Just wondering.
