Hi Guys

I'm putting together another show tank, in 6mm glass

tank size will be 122cm X 44cm X 50cm (h)

Will i need a center brace? or can i get away with side braces and no center brace?

I think glass is one, but the silicon that uses to glue and hold the glass is an important factor as well. Most experienced maker will use double silicon in aquarium tank, and with centre brace it definitely give more strength to the tank than without.

I would say it is best to check with the tank maker and get honest answer from them if they have done that or not.

I would definetly use a brace the sides are going to bow when you put water in the tank I would JMO for what its worth!
