I am not sure where to put this so dropping it here in the general discussion location.

I though some of you making your own BH mix might be interested in this. It's a Big'n

Not for me. I was surfing Rasmus Auctions and saw this. I am looking for one, but much, much smaller. I thought some of our bigger home breeders and sponsors might be interested.
Items on this auction site go for pennies on the dollar. I purchased my 75 gallon aquarium I am using for my sump here and only paid two dollars and fifty cents... yes, $2.50!

One of these is listed on eBay at the moment, for $3,800. I would be surprised if this one went for more than $300.

Holy smokes!! That would be for a hobbyist who wanted to make and sell his/her own beefheart. Hmmmm, that gets me thinking..............

I have been following your build and why not use a food processor? I have close to 30 discus at the moment. And with my processor, I make about 6lbs of beefheart mix at a time. It lasts me anywhere from 3-4 months. Even a smaller one seems overkill to me unless you are a breeder. Good luck on your search ;)

I killed a blender & overheated a ninja food processor on my first attempt (peas were not fully thawed), so I'll be getting a grinder soom. However, I think I'll go a bit smaller than that one. ;)

I've seen a few Robot Coups. Rasmus will auction off the entire contents of restaurants when they fail. Saw one go for $45 and they cost over a grand new. This won't burn out or overheat and what I am looking for. Just waiting for one to come up near me. If your near SW Virginia, Lexington to be exact, you can pick this one up for a steal. http://rasmuscatalog.com/cgi-bin/mnlist.cgi?rasmus105/10129
