I know bristlenose is good but any other type you guys would recommend? Would like to stay less than 4-5" if possible

People on SD say all Plecos except bristlenose can attach to Discus for their slime. I have no personal experience with them.

L200 green phantom. Don't know how big they get though, also I heard zebra plecos are good but I don't think they eat algae

L200 is recommended for discus, I beleive it was Discus Hans and Josie who recommended them to me. If I did not have bristle nose replaced be bristle nose I would have gone with L200.

I had ABNP and they never showed signs of attaching to the discus. They did stay relatively small though.

Yea, there are many more plecos you can keep with discus other than bushy noses L200 are good L046 zebras do well with discus I have a few in one of my tanks, but they are a little more challenging to keep vs other plecos. Golden nuggets are also good tank mates. Usually like you said as long as you get the species that stay under 4-5 in you should be ok.
