I've got a shed-load of carnivore Malawi African cichlid food from my old, now-defunct mbuna tank. It's all good-quality flake and pellet, high protein, some of it spirulina based, and years before its use by date. It's for smaller, juvenile cichlids and, as most of them were aulonocara, it's carnivore stuff. My discus will be two to three inches, so of a similar size to the cichlids. I was going to whack it on eBay, then realised it might be okay for my new discus? Any thoughts... ?

Yes, sounds like the acid test, that. I've heard discus can be finnicky eaters though, especially the juveniles. Just didn't want to open the packets to try because then I probably can't sell them. Guess I'll have to...

They are cichlids so if they like it they'll eat it. "T"
