this is my question i have a pump that 'im planing to use but i have to lubricate every time with mineral oil on the inlet.can this harm my discus in any way?

inline pump don't know the name right now and is 350 gph it has regular hoses connections

I bought this pump because I’m a building engineer mechanic and I didn't have to pay since I can justify that I use for work it cost me $92 dollars on home depot. Do you recommend any other as strong but shipper?

Is this a submersible pump or a utility pump? Is the oil to actually lube or to prime the unit?? "T"

yes is a utility pump to prime the unit. I'm trying to make the cleaning faster and fun any suggestion is appreciated. but my main question is safe food grade mineral oil on discus? thank you

I found this tread with pictures and is the same pump i have (Simer Transfer Pump) i'm new on this forum.thank you for your help
