You just made my day a bad day. Just last week I put 25 years of FAMA in the land fill along with Jim Quarles book. Bummer. Tried to sell them- no buyers. To be perfectly honest Quarles book ,to me .really didn't offer much except for a lot of ads.

Why a bad day? There's a lot of book collectors out there. Having a book circulating by j keeps his memory alive. Part of history.

Jim Quales was a member of my Discus Study Group(San Francisco Aquarium Society), he also got Discus from me and many other Discus keepers in the Bay Area.
I would see him at least once a month at the meeting, he would tell me what was going on with his book project as usually a lot of complaining, but he did
say that the book got rejected some many time because Mary Sweeney(editor for TFH) while going thru discovery found too many copyright issue. As for a
lot of ad or pictures these mostly are of Bing Seto's hatchery, Bing Seto even ask me if I had any pictures to give Jim for the book.
