Does anyone know what works good to get rid of gill flukes. I have been using the med. called livebearer with great success but it is very hard to find where I live and if you do find someone it is very expensive. Thank you.

It's hard to find pretty much anywhere, they stopped producing it a while back. I hooked a friend up with the last case I knew of last year.

You can search the forum for detailed treatment and dosing options, but some common treatments would use prazi, pp, or formalin.

I'm currently using Praziquantel to treat gill flukes. It takes long time to treat and hopefully get rid of flukes in my tank completely.

You can probably pick it up locally anywhere they sell water filtering supplies.
