I'm getting tired of my home made stand and My husband would be more supportive of the hobbie if my tank had a furniture look to it. I've been look online and I can't find
many choices for 75 gallons approx. Can you help me with some site links or advice?

Are u trying to be funny? I've been looking online but I'd like a store with something more upscale.

How about r and j aquatics? I am unsure of the prices, they don't seem to be listed on the website.

Thank-you... This company sells on Amazon as well and I was hoping for more options. This is the only Company I have found online so far.

Keep your thinking caps on :)

Why not try a local wood worker then you can choose what you want maybe match your décor.

not sure if a local wood worker would be able to take care of the electrical work for the hood.. then again.. i saw an lfs wiring a hood for a customer's' custom hood..

but i agree CL would be a great place to start for a good deal

A few years back, I designed a custom top for my 150 gallon reef tank. I had a friend who knew woodworking and another who knew electrical. The results was a nice canopy top with lights (metal halides and T8's) and fans to control the heat. Also made supports inside to hold a 1/4" thick glass to avoid splashing and salt creep. Total cost of this project was around $200.00. The outside had some nice oak planking's. If I can dig through some boxes of photos, I will try and post them.

Oh, I want to thank you but save you the effort in digging for those photos!!!! I thick I'd rather just buy. Really. I can't handle any renos including something as simple as picking up a paint brush. I tried to do some woodworking already and it turned out pretty bad actually. :(

Can you expand your search on craigslist? Driving for an hour could save you hundreds of dollars over a new one.

A cabinet maker might be able to do it for you
