grow out question

I have 10 juvies, ranging from 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 inches in a 75. Would it be possible to raise them to there potential full size in that environment, given that w/c, food, ect. would be optimal or at some stage, say around 3-4 months, separate them into 2 groups of 5 into two 75 gals tanks for best results?

If you do everything right then yes you can. I have done it myself.

I also have 10 juveniles, 6-8cm in a 600l community tank, would you say it is possible to grow them to their full potential?

very hard to grow them out unless you feed and feed, WC and WC.

ps: it's better to start new thread and add more info about your tanks. that's way advices will be more accurate.

John will say no haha i know what he is thinking lol but can try our best by doing heavy water changes and loads of vacuuming but best way to grow out juvies is BB tanks... most juvies get stunted in sandy or planted tanks cos of other buildup of bacteria ens and not being able to keep substrate clean of bad stuff in it 100% of the time, in a BB tank there is no sand and plants to worry about not keeping the tank clean... think of it like this would u beable to get hold of all the fish poop and uneaten food in a substrate/planted tank or in a BB tank? Bb tank waaaay more easy to get hold of the nasties. :)
